Home work ?

Doing Andy's Homework.

All or nothing,

Sod it!  go for a poem.

User involvement and volunteering,
what are you going to get out of it ?
Its like a race you don't have to get any thing out of it,
your not compelled! to take part
we are not all runners,
its how I get my info listening here,
listening there,
some time the bones ball comes in to play,
you make a friend, you have a laugh,
no body laughs at you,
they laugh with you.

This is only home work
so miss out the middle bit
skip to the end.

Confidence is rising
you will tell um,
in the end.

A alternative or extension to Glastonbury

Is this a annual event for you,
I know the festival is but I'm thinking of the disappointed fans,
the country has gone to the dogs
with no hope of the government rectifying it
and now just to rub it in Glast'o all sold out,
just may be while parliament is in recess some fine entrepreneur
Could put the building with all its many bars to good use
and just to promote abstinence and a clear head  for the return of parliament.
A donation of all alcohol on the premises
going to the revelers.

World Mental Health Day

10 October 2012

World Mental Health

World Mental Health Day raises public awareness about mental health issues.
The day promotes  open discussion of mental health disorders,
and investments in prevention, promotion and treatment services .
this year it is "Depression: A Global Crisis".

Todays Blog has all ready grown into such a rambling rush in my head,
Yes I know its a contradiction of words, "Head Please please slow down",
thoughts are rush in, I'm unable to action on the idea as quick,
but good ideas are valuable, they have taken just a fraction of time to
generate. Time not a commodity to wast, a one point the only way to stop
the heads filling with fog was to jam it, with alcohol,
( easier to drink than spell ),
I'm digressing but you get the picture. Must stop it hear ,
more fog coming in.

West Coast Main Line

Dear Richard

Did you hear me!

As the country wakes up to the news,
that the government admit they got it wrong,
news now silently creeping from the tunnel of darkness

A shout of YES! as I pushed my fist in the air,
at seven O'clock this morning,

Mister Branson Sir, you give us all hope,
in changing wrongly  awarded contracts,

Thank You.

Best Regards.

Stuart.

P.S Our fight goes on.

Good luck with the tendering.

Things to count on

A  blinding light from old job brakes,
a fist goes up,  in unison we call,
muffled spitting, and ticks out aloud.

The spirit is steadily rising not from with in,
coerced gently back from the bin,
I'll be rubbished no more, by money grabbing
bastards! above the factory floor.

Thanks to many good dried out thinkers,
who have helped me raise my fingers,
strength in my numbers, now thats one,
Remembering Bills words, up your bum.

The fight is back so tame that anger,
a stealthy prolonged attack,
is more affective than jabbing and running back.

Thankful gratitude to all my many good friends,
with a special thanks  to all in Recovery,
and my boys who give me untold strength.

Distill Your own Dreams

Tuesday 25 September 2012

He's up !

Stu's View.

My Day.

Up from my pit of dreams,
much like the television nothing on last-night,
today starts slow,
I mean real slow not dressed yet.

Have I /we spent to long out in the fast lane,
a life of instant response,
jumping to please
be it our self's or others,

note to self,
take it slow old timer,
you don't need all the pieces in place to start the day,
use tomorrow as backup
don't carry crap all the way today.

Monday 24 September 2012

Good Morning All !

Its all over,
the week end that was,
that lull in tension gone,
the pressure now on,
no more exacting pressure than yesterday,
just excuses to relax removed,
four days of internal spinning,
nudging and external interference ahead,
we get interference on our TV,
but the difference is you can turn it off.
roll on Saturday,
Just for once can we roll back time.

Words I would like to hear today are
It will be fine go back to bed,
when normality returns it brings energy
new life, the need for bed gone.

Sunday 23 September 2012

Sod a title !

Normal scribbled paper notes are illegible.

As the brain stirs
I wish no its not a wish its just a thought
a ipad may just may get ideas down
in text, before they get so big
so precise, exact that they never
see the light of day.

Saturday 22 September 2012

Times of Mixed Emotions. Taking strength !

As you may have guessed things have been stacked against me
much like this flower a selfset Nicotiana, growing in concrete
for all the dogs to aim at,

We Will Survive.

If Life

If life is a game why do the big boys cheat,
change the rules take your money
and run, waving two fingers.

Some times you have to ask for Help

Whispering in my garden

and its too my little friends I turn
We will do it together
Its a messy job
a three letter word
  it digs and scrapes
They will do it for me
just a word in the right ear.

what is the problem? Just a bloody cat.

( No cats will be harmed in this strategic deterrent. )   .

Not so lost

The main center rectangle is of a wood carving,
A abstract depiction of a life shattered
with the direction of recovery in red,
many times it's impossible to see a way-out,  and you cut your self
trying, It is there don't give up.

*
This is also posted as a reminder to my self,
 it must be true.

that washing machine going in to spin cycle.

Emotions without pictures

If you dip in and out regular you may have noticed
all my postings are accompanied by a art work,
but not today, have just finished watching a
Kate Thornton documentary about her past battle
with anorexia,
Seeing people Kate was talking to about their recovery
really pushes home the facts about
the little known anxieties the hidden emotions, all the
difficulties the sufferer, their families also friends
have to endure, I have my own long team problems
the missing artwork from this post represents the
unseen emotional trauma and physical pain
associated with mental health.
